Iran Nowruz (New Year)

Nowruz is an ancient and cherished holiday in Iran. For the past twelve years, caring activists around the world have been taking our annual Nowruz action and have sent thousands of Nowruz greeting cards to prisoners of conscience in Iran and their families.

Every December around International Human Rights Day, December 10th, Amnesty supporters across the globe write millions of letters for those whose basic human rights are being abused.
We Stand By Zeynab Petition Postcards
Champlain Valley Chapter attended the Bonnie Raitt Concert at the Flynn Theater on April 18, 2022 and promoted various human rights petitions, including the “We Stand By Zeynab” postcards. Additionally, Unitarian Universalist Church signed 65 “We Stand By Zeynab” postcards during their April/May Sunday coffee hour.
Write for Rights at the 28th Annual Vermont International Festival
